Online Safety Resources

Resources online for your children can be a great help. However, please use parental discernment as to whether the content is age appropriate and meets your family standards. Be aware of what your children are watching and where they are watching it. Here are some helpful resources on internet safety.

Adam Racoon

These Adam Raccoon books have been used by Pastor and Rachael for a number of years. Various people have posted them on You Tube, so the reader and style will vary according to the title. We have posted the best version we could find. If you find a better version, please let us know!

Bible Visuals International

Pastor Klinton and Andrea have been using Bible Visuals materials in their ministries for many years. Bible Visuals has a large collection of visualized Bible and missionary stories. We have linked a few missionary stories that BVI staff have created and placed on YouTube. We trust that these stories of true Christian heroes will challenge and encourage your children.

Superbook

Superbook is a Christian animated series produced by CBN. The stories fallow two kids and their robot as they travel through time and learn valuable life lessons from past Biblical events. Once you create a free account on the Superbook website you and your kids will have access to the videos, interactive games, and a variety of other resources. If you do not wish to create an account you can also access Superbook episodes from YouTube and Amazon Prime Video.

Patch the Pirate

Patch the Pirate is a series of character-building, comical, and musical recordings for children produced by Majesty Music. Some of the stories have been around for 40 years, but the lessons and truths are still applicable today. Below are a few videos with just the sound track that we have found on YouTube. You can also find recordings on Spotify, Amazon Music, and other music services.

Nature Corner with Bob Devine

Most of our older members will remember Bob Devine, a radio personality on WCRF, Moody Radio from Cleveland. I remember growing up listening to Bob's the morning show as I got ready for school. "Uncle Bob" started presenting a children's "Nature Corner" on WCRF and Moody Radio. Many of his brief (up to 15 minutes) presentations are available from Moody Radio. Life Kids

Life Kids is a ministry of a large church that creates high-quallity online programs for kids of various ages. Below we have linked Youtube playlists of two of those programs that we believe could be good resources. Both The Bible Adventure and Konnect HQ are fun interactive programs that creatively engage and teach kids Scriptural lessons. We do feel that we must warn you that the music does not meet the standards of First Baptist Church. Like all of our resources we encourage you to watch with your family. There is also a Bible App that goes along with all of the lessons.
