Staff

Rev. Tom Alexander is our Senior Pastor.

Pastor Alexander grew up in north central Ohio.  He received his training at Tennessee Temple University (BA, 1978) and Temple Baptist Theological Seminary (MRE, 1984).  His previous ministries include serving on the Youth Staff at the Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN (1980-1983), and serving as an Associate Pastor at the Lima Baptist Temple in Lima, OH (1984-1996).  He has been serving the Lord here at First Baptist since August 26, 1996.

Pastor Alexander's wife, Rachael, grew up in the state of Michigan.  They met at Tennessee Temple where they served together in youth ministry.  They were married in 1984 and have 4 children (Beth, Dan, Hannah, and Joanna) and two grandchildren.

Pastor Alexander serves on the General Council of Baptist Mid-Missions, as Secretary for the Council of 12 of the Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches, and on the Council of 18 for the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches.  He has previousy served on the Executive Committee for the Hebron Fellowship (6 years) and on the Board of Directors for Editorial Bautista Independiente, Baptist Mid-Missions' Spanish publishing house (10 years).

 

 

 

 

Jeremy Peck is our Associate Pastor.

Pastor Jeremy grew up in a pastor's home in the state of New York.  He received his training at Practical Bible College (BRE, 1998).  Prior to coming to Wellington he served in various capacities at Baptist Children's Home in Indianapolis, IN (1998-2004).  He began his ministry here at First Baptist Church in September of 2004.  His primary duties as Associate Pastor relate to youth ministries, but he is involved in many other areas, including heading up our men's ministries.

Pastor Peck's wife, Christina, is also from New York State.  They met at Practical Bible College and were married in 1997.  They have one son, Hunter.

Pastor Peck currently serves as Treasurer on the Executive Committee of the Hebron Fellowship and as a member of the Board of Directors for Baptist Children's Home.
